Chicken SesameServes 4 : Very easy : Quickish
Ingredients
400gm skinless chicken breast fillet
(about 3 large breasts)
1 Tblsp sesame oil
Marinade:
3 Tblsp soy sauce
2 Tblsp sesame oil
2 Tblsp brown sugar
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp crushed garlic
80ml sesame seeds
200gm asparagus
240gm rice
Mixed salad, to serve
Method
Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces.
Mix all the marinade ingredients together in a bowl.
Tip the chicken pieces into the marinade.
Turn to coat all the pieces.
Set aside while you:
Put the rice on to cook in lightly salted water.
Drain and keep warm once tender.
Steam the asparagus for 5 minutes.
Drain and keep warm.
Heat 1 Tblsp sesame oil in a large frying pan.
Tip the chicken and marinade into the pan.
Fry for about 5 minutes before turning over.
Continue cooking for another 5 Minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
Serve with the rice, asparagus and a fresh mixed salad.
